Turn your iPhone into a PSP, I am a big PSP fan, I dig playing on my PSP like hell. Maybe because it was an integral part of my gaming years (maybe teenage), I get goose bumps when I steer Kratos through the dangerous world of God of War. I love the Splinter Cell Games for PSP and also Need for Speed. I even like Atari Classics Evolved like hell. Okay, by now you must have got a fair idea that I am a die-hard PSP fan. But due to the size and weight of my PSP, it is not possible for me to carry it everywhere (though it is a mobile device).
Often when I am waiting for a train at the Subway, I feel the urge to play on my PSP. But alas! It is not there with me at that moment. But I have my iPhone with me all the time. I carry it everywhere. So, won’t it be awesome if in someway I could have emulated the PSP games on my iPhone. Well, my wishes have been answered. Enter PPSSPP. It is a Cydia app that acts as an emulator for PSP games in iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. But your device needs to be jailbroken in order to be able to use this app.
Follow the following instructions to download and install PPSSPP:
- In Cydia, tap on Manage and go to Source. Tap on Edit and then Add. In the text box type cydia.myrepospace.com/theavenger
- Search for PPSSPP, tap on Install
- Tap on Confirm
- Tap on Return to Cydia
Now there will be an icon on your home screen for PPSSPP. This is your app.
The next step is loading games onto your device. You need to get .ISO or .CSO files of the games. These are readily available on the Internet. Just Google the game’s name followed by .ISO or .CSO. You should be able to find the games. Use a file application like iExplorer to save the games’ files in a folder on your device. Launch PPSSPP from your home screen, tap on Load and locate the folder in which you saved the game files. Select the game you want to play and tap on Launch. Now you are good to go. Have the fun of your PSP on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.Top Trending Articles :
