iPad Air 2 Releasing In October and New iPad Mini In Early 2015. Following the successful launch of iPhone 6 and the bigger iPhone 6 Plus, apple is rumored to be working on releasing more products to the market in the month of October. In accordance with Commercial Times from Taiwan it was expected by most analysts that the September 9th event had insight on potential release of iPad in the future. This did not come to pass as Cook aimed at maintaining focus on iPhone 6, Apple pay and Apple Watch. If the Taiwanese report comes to pass then iPad Air could see its second generation production this month.
As part of this the new iPad is expected to run on A8 that is found in both iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus. Other upgrades will include improvement on camera and introduction of the bio-metric Touch ID sensor from Apple that will be used for user verification. The introduction of the Touch ID sensor will allow developers to create a new line of great apps to run on the tablet given that Touch ID APIs have reached third-party developers.
The Taiwanese report also has it that Apple is in line to upgrade the iPad mini as well, but its launch will not come until beginning of 2015 maybe alongside the launch of Apple Watch. Just like iPad Air, iPad Mini will also experience processor upgrade and will come in three color options of space gray, silver and gold.
As it concludes the Commercial Times report tries to resurrect a number of forgotten rumors such as the introduction of 12.9 inch iPad Pro model. It is not known how its features will be different except that it will have a larger screen, though it is not the first time we are hearing of it. If Apple is gearing up to release a new line of iPad during the festive market then an invitation to a media event is just around the corner, so watch out.Top Trending Articles :
