Apple has just released iOS 6.1.2 with Exchange Calender bug fix and few other minor bug fixes but more than an hour ago. After the new iOS release, the biggest question was about its jailbreak support. We had news from last week that Apple might fix the jailbreak exploit used by evaders to successfully perform an untethered jailbreak on all the flavors of iOS 6. But now we assure you that iOS 6.1.2 is fully jailbreakable, the good new came with iOS jailbreak developer PlanetBeing’s tweet claiming tests are successful on most of the devices he tried jailbreaking running with the latest iOS 6.1.2 firmware.
Following that tweet Planetbeing confirmed that in another tweet that iOS 6.1.2 is jailbreakable and a new version of Evasi0n jailbreak is on its way. The new version of evasi0n according to its developers will just have added iOS 6.1.2 support, else the evasi0n 1.3 the latest in the family can jailbreak iOS 6.1.2 without any issue but the software wont accept the new iOS version, which will be added in version Evasi0n 1.4
