Best Call Recorder for iPhone 5 iPhone 4S iPhone 4, It is always convenient to be able to record some calls at times. How about your friend dictating a phone number to you on the phone? Won’t it be easier to just record the call instead of looking for a piece of paper and then a pen or a pencil to jot down the number? Of course it is. Sony Ericsson used to provide this feature in their earlier phones and it was quite handy and useful.
Now this same feature is coming to your iPhone. The only bad news is that this feature will be available only on the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 4S. In the iPhone 5, both speaker and receiver recording can be done but on the iPhone 4S, only speaker recording can be done.
This tweak requires your iPhone to be jailbroken. It is called Call Recorder and has been developed by Elias Limneos. It costs $3.99 and is currently awaiting approval at the BigBoss repo. Can’t wait for the approval? Well, don’t worry. You can download the tweak by adding the repo yourself. In Cydia, tap on Manage. Then tap on Sources, then Edit, and then Add. Type in http://limneos.net/repo. Then tap on Add Source. Once done, just search for Call Recorder and you can then download the tweak.
But this tweak contains a feature that informs the person on the other side of the call that the call is being recorded. This is a fine tweak, which when used responsibly, can be very useful that will compliment the busy lifestyle that people lead today. But in the wrong hands, this might not be quite a good piece of software. Thanks to the built-in feature that informs the other party of the call being recorded.
